It's Official

I have poison ivy. Tim threw my gardening gloves to me on Monday as we were pulling weeds. I decided I didn't need them. BAD decision. Now my hands are swollen, red and oozing slightly (yeah that was probably TMI). I have random patches of red bumps on my wrist, my knee and my knuckle. Best part is apparently poison ivy takes a few days to show up and about a week to go away. I'm hoping that I've hit the peak of how many spots are going to show up and I can just deal with the itching for a few days before its over.

Lesson learned, I will forever be wearing gloves and showering as soon as I'm done working in the yard in the future. Leaves of three, stay away from me!
